Nothing like popping the top off of a good board game to get the night going. For decades, the board game has been the vehicle for good times in households across the world. The thrill of getting together, choosing your pieces, shuffling cards, and locking into a strategy… this is the core of game night. I've played Monopoly games that have forged friendships, and I've played Cards Against Humanity games that have ended them. Such is the gamble of a night treading the boards, as they say. (They don't say that, but whatever.) And holding together all those good times is the humble cardboard box. It neatly keeps the tokens of merriment nicely organized, separated, and ready for fun.
So it really is baffling to hear what a Reddit poster's fiancé did to these board games-- and in the name of efficiency! This is one of those all-timer Reddit threads. It's just what the internet is for.
